The 3-1-1 Houston Service Helpline system provides a single, easy-to-use number to access city services from 6:00 a.m. till midnight, 7 days a week.
The implementation of 3-1-1 in Houston:
1. Responds to citizens' non-emergency needs immediately,
2. Reduces the current 9-1-1 call load by providing an alternative for service calls.

Community garage sale is held each year in April.
Individual garage Sales are prohibited in Bear Branch Village.

Garbage/Recycling
GARBAGE All yard waste that includes tree limbs, grass, leaves, pine needles, weeds, etc. must always be placed at the curb (near the street) for collection. This includes bagged yard waste not heavier than 40 lbs. as well as tied bundles not heavier than 40 lbs.
Best Trash only collects household trash at the garage door area, which is trash from the kitchen and bathroom. Please have the trash out prior to 7 am and have it visible from the road and not behind any gates.
RECYCLING (paper, cardboard, plastic, glass (separate bins for each)) - Every weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
Kingwood Park N Ride lot- all day
ELECTRONIC RECYCLING (t.v.'s, computers, radios, clocks, etc.) - First Saturday of every month
Kingwood Park N Ride lot- 9am - 3pm
BEST TRASH is your new trash company and you must set up service with them.
